Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. White County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email you send long enough to answer and manage the exchange. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the site's servers automatically receive limited technical information about that visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Small files called cookies help measure traffic patterns, including popular pages and where visits end. Analytics providers combine that activity into reports. You may block cookies through your browser, although doing so can change how parts of the site function.

No Court-Record Data on File
White County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case information. It provides general directions to the White County Circuit Court Clerk, the Circuit Court / Criminal Court of the 13th Judicial District, other local courts, and the Tennessee Public Court Records System. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party records.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and disclosure practices govern any information submitted through those tools. Review the applicable partner policy before running a search because we do not control that processing.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to White County clerk pages, Tennessee court resources, legal-aid organizations, or outside search services. Once you follow a link, the destination's privacy policy applies. Read it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use activity across websites to select ads. That processing occurs through their own systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be disclosed to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected data. No internet system is completely secure, however, so we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If information from a minor is identified, we will remove it after receiving notice.
Your Data Rights
Your location may provide additional privacy or consumer-protection rights. The Tennessee Public Records Act and Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 govern access to governmental and court records, respectively, but they do not turn this private site into a public-record custodian. At a minimum, you may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing

This policy may be revised. Any new version will appear here with an updated effective date, so visitors should review it periodically.
